REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ENVIRONMENTAL INQUIRY MINOR

A total of 18 credits are required, of which at least 6 must be at the 400-level. Students already emphasizing an environmentally-focused program must use courses outside their major to fulfill cluster requirements. (View University Bulletin Listing).

HOW THE MINOR WORKS IN 4 EASY STEPS:

1. Take a 3 credit introductory course.

2. Take nine credits from one of the following seven specialty clusters:

  1. Biodiversity and Ecosystems
  2. Environment and Society
  3. Environmental Explorations
  4. Ideas About the Environment
  5. Water Resources
  6. Human Settlements
  7. Energy Resources

3. Take an additional 3 credit course
To provide greater breadth to the curriculum, select one environmentally related 400-level course from outside your chosen cluster and major. Field experiences are encouraged!  (View additional courses )
